The legendary album Weihnachten in der goldenen Stadt (Christmas in the Golden Town) has been recorded by Polydor in the autumn of 1969 in Prague in the Tyne church in co-prodution with Supraphon and was released under the name Vánoce ve Zlaté Praze (Christmas in Golden Prague) in Czechoslovakia, but in a slightly different version. We can even find another songs there and a different version of the song Adeste Fideles (the one on Polydor-album was sung with more emphasis). The album was released in many re-editions with many different sleeves and as one of the first, it was released on CD already in 1982. In the re-edition CD Complete, we can find both versions on one CD, except for the song Adeste Fideles.
