La Canzone, in italian "The Song", this is a pure name of the album from the 1973, filled rather with a mix of latina national, classical and folk songs. We can find opera arias and even belcanto songs. And of course, this is a repertoire made just for Karel Gott. On the record, he has really "enjoyed himself", his fresh tenor and feeling for this genre really excells here into beautiful aspects... again, one of the best records of Karel Gott, this time completely sung in italian and spanish. The album was also released in Spain, but with a different sleeve and in Czechoslovakia in 1974, but only on MC. Recently on CD in the Komplet re-edition, together with folk album Mezi Vltavou, Donem a Dunajem (Among Vltava, Don and Danube).
