Already in 1999, at the occassion of the Karel Gott's 60th birthday, a special annual CD edition with a selection of his successful songs has been released on 8 CDs. In 2000, all of them have been released separatelly century by century as well. The double-album with 90's songs has been released for the first time. Not always the greatest hits are considered, so that is propably the reason why the album was called just "Original recordings" and it is really apposite. The album presents a profile of the singer's production and it pleases each conincidental listener of Karel Gott, who does not need to collect all his albums.
