In the same year as Meine Donaumelodie Karel Gott recorded an album called Meine Sonntagsmelodie (My Sunday Melodies). It is an album of similar character, which is completely unknown in Supraphon discography. As the name tells, the songs on this record are suitable for festive occassions and despite of the fact that it is a mono-theme album, the title song Chianti-Lied became a hit.
