Already in 1999, at the occassion of Karel Gott's 60th birthday, a special annual edidition CD was released with the selection of his successful songs on 8 CDs. In 2000, again for every decade. The double-album with songs from the 60's is a re-edition of the Supraphone album, which was released already in 1993. It's not always the greatest hits which can be found here, thus the name "Original records" and it is really a suitable name. The album presents rather a profile of the production and it can mean pleasant listening for an occassional Karel Gott listener, who do not strive to collect all of his records.
