The first album of the series of CD Complete brings Czech singles from 1962-64 and the first, still English sung records from 1960-61. You can thus find even the first recordings of Karel Gott ever (if we don't count the private record - a gift for his mother from 1957). In many of the songs you can recognize his early jazz aspirations, we can hear a young boy singing, which came and suddenly became a star.. Still he was rather shy and modest, his ambitions will rise along with success he reaches. But you can not hear this in his singing performace, he sings with high self-confidence, decorates the songs as he wishes and enjoys the singing, with a light and burning feeling...
