In 1980, an album successful in a similar way as the former one was released, but it was less romantic and contained more pop. Except for three songs In der Augen einer Frau, La Mer (Karel sings the song here in French as La mer) and No Chiquita, the songs have not their Czech versions. Almost each of the songs has become a hit, especially the title one Eine Liebe ist viele Tränen wert (Love is worth many tears) and Geh nicht (Don´t go). The song No Chiquita has been released on a single in Czech version and belongs among the worst ones, but here it sounds a lot better. In a similar way as this album, the following albums Und die Sonne wird wieder scheinen (And the sun will shine again) and Karel have been released.
