Legendary and outstanding album Von Böhmen in die Welt (From Bohemia to the World) brings best pieces of Czech classics and even Czech and Moravian folklore in Karel's irresistible interpretation, especially if Moravian folk songs are considered. Except for Vltava, records from this album, from which Karel sung in czech and "Moravian", have not been released by Supraphon. On this album, among others, we can find world-famous Jaromír Vejvoda's hit Škoda lásky (Beer Barel Polka) or song from Czech word-famous classic composers - Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Frimel or Fibich. This very successful ablum was released in a slightly changed club version under the name of Grüsse von der Moldau with a song called Mikulečka. Smetana's Vltava is in czech version here, but it was also recorded in german on single play record, (it even appeared on the outstanding triple-album Einmal um die ganze Welt from 1999). The album was released in several re-editions and different sleeves, also as CD.
